Voice for Companion Animals

About the Organization

Voice for Companion Animals was brought to Grand Island in 2014, where our main mission is to provide food for the pet food pantry at the Salvation Army. In 2015, we created the AniMeals program, in conjunction with the Grand Generation Center. This program provides pet food and supplies for those individuals on the Home Based Meal program. We have grown from approximately 18 families to over 80 in our delivery program, including delivering to other counties. We also maintain a pet food pantry at our facility to assist those in need who have transportation. Voice for Companion Animals also is a small no-kill animal rescue. If space is available, we help those companion animals who have no other place to go. Since 2012, Voice for Companion Animals has grown and thrived with the generous donations and sponsorships of our supporters. That is how we continue to be funded today.
