In addition to providing tennis activities for all ages, the Grand Island Tennis Association (GITA) maintains the current facility at 2204 Bellwood Drive in Grand Island. The GITA is responsible for all maintenance of the building and the 4 indoor playing surfaces. Recent projects have included roof repairs, the addition of gutters on the north side, and replacing court nets and net dividers as needed.

The GITA was a primary driver of the construction of the 4 outdoor courts at Ryder Park and works with the Grand Island Parks Department in activities involving tennis courts at city parks.

Activities supported include kids' lessons, kids' tournaments, adult league play, adult tournaments, and open court availability. Both Grand Island Senior High and Grand Island Central Catholic utilize our indoor courts for practice during boys & girls tennis seasons.
