About the Organization
Mid-Plains Center is a nonprofit behavioral health organization dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of individuals and families in Nebraska. Established in 1971, it offers a comprehensive range of services, including crisis stabilization, outpatient therapy, medication management, Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST), and community support programs. With a whole-person approach to care, the center addresses mental health in the context of physical health, community connections, and personal goals. Serving 22 counties in central Nebraska, Mid-Plains Center is home to the state's only Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), ensuring that anyone in need can access these critical services. The organization is committed to accessibility, ensuring no one is turned away due to an inability to pay. Through collaboration with community partners Mid-Plains Center fosters awareness, resilience, and hope for the communities it serves.
