The Committee is raising funds to renovate the current Ryder Park baseball field. The renovation will enable Grand Island to host baseball and softball events that have not been a possibility in the past due to limitations with the field and facilities currently at the park. The improvements will allow Grand Island to bring teams from Omaha, Lincoln, and the surrounding region to the community for tournaments that drive economic opportunities for our local businesses. We will be adding 2 high school softball fields with a turf surface to the current baseball complex, also increasing the opportunities to host high school events.
