The Bremer Community Center has been a cornerstone of community engagement and recreation in Hamilton County, Nebraska, since the completion of its main facility in 1979. Located at 1604 L Street in Aurora, this facility was designed to serve the needs of local residents and neighboring communities by offering versatile spaces for events and activities. In addition to the main center, the Bremer Community Center expanded its offerings with the opening of the Penner Athletic Courts, located at 1477 West Highway 34. This state-of-the-art, 22,275-square-foot facility features hardwood floors and a flexible open floor plan, ideal for athletic events, recreational programs, and large gatherings. Further enhancing our recreational amenities, a new outdoor park-featuring a walking path, three pickleball courts, and two bocce ball courts-is set to be completed in spring 2025. Our mission is to provide exceptional spaces and opportunities that enhance the quality of life for the residents of Hamilton County and beyond.
